A Great Shoe
bought a pair recently, wanted a trainer type shoe for general walking, these fit the bill! Very comfortable, look good, very sturdy sole, great tread. Very pleased.

Would recommend them.
I have had this shoes for two years now, and I have to say that they are the best shoes I've ever had! Very comfortable, sturdy. They still look new! I've just ordered a second pair, just in case they run out!

So far, a good impression
The shoes appear to be solidly built with multiple layers of fabric and a sturdy sole. As another review had mentioned, the insole is thin and of poor quality and I am replacing those with a more comfortable, more supportive insole. I also found the shoes to be on the narrow side, for my feet at least, although they do seem to be stretching out some. Time will tell whether that stress will destroy the shoe seams or not as they have with other brands. But overall, a fairly positive impression thus far.

Buy these shoes
As a vegan of over 30 years who thinks shoes should last a long time, I cannot recommend these shoes highly enough. A year's daily use has hardly affected the shoe. One improvement to the shoe is to add a better foot bed insole. I use Spenco Earthbound Insoles which are part made with recycled materials.

I wanted a pair of casual shoes that have good grip and are hard wearing. It is early days, but initial impressions are very good. They appear to be everything claimed for them, and good loooking too. The quality is excellent, and with a quality sole made by Vibram, I expect they will give years of service.

I am so pleased that I will be ordering another pair soon for my son.
They arrived within a couple of days of ordering. Can't fault the service and value.
well worth the money
I bought mine a year or so ago and apart from the creasing around the toe area, they show little sign of wear. The heels are a bit scuffed, but not worn, which is surprising since they are my main footwear and I walk everywhere. Consider my son's shoes from the local shoe shop cost £35 and wore out on the heels within weeks (and he only wears them to school) and suddenly £76 pounds for my shoes is a bargain.

I really can't recommend these shoes highly enough. For anyone who has been looking for a good quality, comfortable, all round casual shoe, your search is over. I have had mine a couple of weeks and am currently living in them. I'll cut the hyperbole...just get yourself a pair!!

Agree totally with Andrew. Bought these as my day to day casual shoes and they just do the job perfectly. I wore them on the recent TUC March for the Alternative in London and my feet were probably the only part of me that didn't ache after a whole day standing and walking slowly. They're even fine when driving. What more do you need to know... *****

These shoes were also my first purchase from Ethical Wares and I'm more than happy with their customer care and my shopping experience.
