These boots are the absolute pinnacle of comfort, support and safety. As a Technical Officer on my feet up to 14 hours a day on construction sites, various types of roofing (Iron, Terracotta, Cement, Pitched), driving (manual vehicle) and all manner of ground (not all good) I find these boots excellent in every area.
Amazingly comfortable for a work boot, compliant on work sites(CE), great support when driving and always feel safe when on pitched roofing.
Also, I get passing comments on how stylish these boots are. I apply vegan dubbin and they come up a treat and repel water excellently.

I bought my new workboots a week ago and have worn them since then every day. My fist observation was that they are really slim-fitting. My feet are really small and most workboots are men-boots so too wide for me or I had to put on very thick socks (or two pair). In these boots I wear light walking socks and that's just perfect. I chose my own size and they are not too small, not too big, just right. The material is very light (my old boots were twice as heavy!!) and thats very comfortable since I have to stand on my feet in the kitchen all day long. I cannot say anything about durability yet, but for now I am very pleased and would certainly reccomend it to you! Greetings form the Netherlands!!

Ridiculous

These boots are ridiculously good. I've had to wear leather safety boots on and off over the years (been given by employers, couldn't afford vegan ones at the time, etc.), and these are actually better than any others I've tried or seen. Definitely leaps and bounds ahead of Vegetarian Shoes range, in my opinion. They hold up very well, are very long lasting, and are very comfortable. Wearing them inspires confidence.

Personally, I prefer to wear two pairs of socks (I never get blisters as a result). If you do the same (or if you wear thick walking socks), I suggest that, like me, you get the next size up. These boots are a perfect fit for thin socks, but with thick walking socks, you really need another size up, unless you normally have a bit of spare room in your boots...

I also suggest getting some vegan shoe polish so that you can look after the material properly. I had to get some from Vegetarian Shoes, as Ethical Wares did not stock any at the time.

Now I just need vegan walking socks without polyester, ideally all cotton, that are nearly as hard wearing as these boots...

Seriously robust boots

I have had issues finding good robust and strong work boots before, that also happen to be vegan. I have had these for over four years now and they are pretty indestructible, having worked with them in hazardous environments such as ship's engine rooms and in the wet outdoors. I can definitely recommend them to anyone looking for good safety boots. Only think I would suggest is to ensure you polish them, also for durable protection, but that should give a given with any shoes really.
