We know its a bit late in the day for this, but if you are free this Sunday, you could get along to the latest open day at Green Meadow Animal Sanctuary, just outside Wolverhampton.
 
Sunday 9th of October 2011 from 11am till 2pm. It is a wonderful opportunity to come and meet the sanctuary residents.  You can get up close and personal with their bold residents and hear the stories of how they all came to be there.

There are over 150 animals at the sanctuary, including sheep, goats, horses, cats, ducks, geese, chickens and rabbits.

There will be delicious vegan catering, lots of interesting cruelty-free stalls and a bouncy castle for the kids.
