The preparation and use of incense plays an important role in Tibetan society.
The complex and ancient recipes, made from upwards of 20 different herbs and spices are used by Tibetans in religious ceremonies.
This incense is now mainly made in monasteries and is available for all to use for its beautiful and spiritual aroma, for treating various medical conditions and for assistance in meditation and relaxation.
This incense comes from the Tashi Choeling Monastery, Dharamsala, India.
Proceeds from the sale of this incense goes to both support the work of the Monastery, and to provide employment for Tibetan refugees.
